Exciting Visitors and Events

This week, we continued to explore space and made some exciting moon rocks. We finished up our universe as well. We look forward to sharing with you our plan for our space morning soon.

Here are some of our other highlights from this week.

• We inquired into all of the things we can do to take care of ourselves, our friends and our things.
• On Monday, we had a special visit from Kindergarten. They gave us a treasure map and we all got to take home a little piece of treasure.
• On Friday, we read Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We made some porridge for snack, too. Then, Goldilocks paid a visit to our classroom and messed up all of the blocks and chairs! We put them all back up on the shelf as a team. Whew! How's it going to work? Teamwork! 
• The barn owl class invited us to a pizza and PJ party next Wednesday. Our preschool 4s sent home a letter for parents today to tell you all about it. Please talk with your child about this event. 
• We experimented with pipets and cutting in Art. 
• We continued to swing our hearts out in PE.
• We listened to a story about the tortoise and the hare in Music. 
• We are even closer to completing our ABC wall. We've had a lot of fun gluing it up in the literacy corner. 
• We started writing out our dramatic play story lines to help each other play along. 
• We made moon rocks in the Science corner and then made them explode! 
• We had fun in our cozy space with flashlights.
