This Exciting Week - Discovering Space and Defining Community

Well, we are certainly evolving here in the Blazing Lightening Cheetah class. Star, Angel and I were discussing how proud we are of your nuggets this afternoon. They are exhibiting more and more instances of community commitment as time passes (helping others, taking turns, reminding others of agreements, exhibiting safe behavior, offering ideas, etc...). Bravo, kiddos!

This week, your children have been busy turning plans into realities. Their explorations into space and their space play have been incredibly enthusiastic. We are excited to continue their inquiry into these experiences and this realm of knowledge next week.

Other Happenings from this Week:
  • Our buddies helped us visit the big playground for the first time. The kids enjoyed the swings and new play structures.
  • We had a great time making jetpacks.
  • We made astronaut food. Check out our video inspiration here.
  • We inquired into cheetahs and drew some of our own.
  • We reflected on our week and made plans for what we'd like to learn next week. Some ideas were friendships, more about the planets, dinosaurs, and making beetle robots.
Enjoy our highlight slideshow. The kids helped to make comments this week. ;)
